Want to solder your own little skeleton? This listing is for the BARE PCB ONLY of my minifig-head-inspired DEF CON SAO design.

I designed the schematic, PCB layout and board artwork myself in KiCad.

When fully assembled, the board LEDs illuminate the skeleton's eyes and plugs into a standard 6-pin SAO connector for power.

You will receive one manufactured circuit board shown in the photos. LEDs, resistors, SAO connector, solder, DEF CON badge, and other electronic components are NOT included.

What you'll need

• 1 bare monster-head PCB — included
• 4 × 1204 side lit SMD LEDs
• 4 × 0603 330hm SMD resistors
• 1 × 2x3 / 6-pin SAO connector
• Soldering equipment
• A compatible DEF CON badge or other SAO power source

This is a fun little soldering project for hackers, makers, electronics nerds, PCB collectors, or anyone who wants to build their own SAO.

Power: The finished board is designed to receive power through a standard SAO-style 6-pin connector. There is no battery or standalone power source built into this version.

Difficulty: Some soldering experience is recommended because the design uses small surface-mount components.
